The Deimos Entertainment label (of BCI Eclipse) will release this week a new line of double feature DVDs featuring two exploitation films complete with trailers and theater ads: "Welcome to the Grindhouse: Pick-up and The Teacher" features "Pick-Up" (1974), an off-beat story about two young women whose lives are forever changed when they hitch-hike a ride in a mobile home; and "The Teacher" (1974), an explosive story about a beautiful, provocative 28-year-old high school teacher whose seduction of a student proves fatal, starring Angel Tompkins and Jay North; "Welcome to the Grindhouse: Evil Eye and Black Candles" features "Evil Eye" (1974), in which a man who has nightmares about murdering someone is hospitalized ... soon people start turning up dead all around him; and "Black Candles" (1983), in which a young American visiting England is drawn into a satanic cult; $12.98 each ... "4 Life" (2007) stars Wood Harris, Elise Neal, Page Kennedy, JD Williams, Sundy Carte in a drama about life among street gangsters in Baltimore, from CodeBlack Entertainment ...
