I usually write a transcript of the conversation and have to ask for
photos. Though sometimes I also write an article about the person for
another magazine or website. Here's one that I did for Collin Chou at
Countingdown.com- http://www.countingdown.com/features?feature_id=4005574
The editor likes Hi Resolution film stills but personal pics are good
too, as long as they are hi res and a good size. Andy Cheng (ex
stuntman from Jackie Chan's team and now an action choreographer and
director) sent me some photos from his personal collection which was
nice as it makes the pics exclusive. Kenneth Bi (director of The
Drummer) sent in film stills and on set pics.
I'm really looking forward to talking to Andy On as from what I've
read of his blog and heard in his commentary track for Invisible
Target, his personality should make this a fun interview. Which is
another reason I like to do a phone interview or in-person interview
rather than via e-mail. But I'll take what I can get LOL.
