This is a message board devoted to the website www.1secondfilm.com.
The One Second Film is a non-profit collaborative work in progress. Their goal is to get everyone, from celebrities to ordinary (or extraordinary)people to donate to the financing to the film. You can buy a credit on the film starting at just $1.00! How do I know? Because, as of 8/17/05, I became an associate producer for just $1.00. I am using this message board to promote my film and all proceeds from the financing of this film will be going to the Global Fund for Women.
The theme of the film is perfect moments in life, which are unpredictable. Anything can happen in one second, hence the title. This film has 24 frames to it (12 frames filmed twice) that will make up the one second film, after which the credits of all the producers will run alongside a 90-minute "making of" documentary. This is part of a revolutionary 5-phase plan, culminating in the 11,111 Second Movie, which may become the largest collaborative film ever made.
I will be leaving the message board up until the financing has been met. This is a very real, very legitimate film that has been listed on IMDB.com and, as of right now, 2,000+ producers have had their names added onto the website and IMDB.com. I encourage you to become part of history, to be apart of what I think is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
