Cleveland, Ohio- Hailed by Variety as "Deeply moving and finely
realized," director Greg Pak's debut feature film ROBOT
STORIES makes its Ohio premiere at 2p, Sunday, November 9 at the 10
Year Anniversary OIFF at Cleveland Public Theatre, 6415 Detroit Road
(admission $10). ROBOT STORIES is science fiction from the heart in
four stories about love, death, family… and robots. The film
stars Tamlyn Tomita (JOY LUCK CLUB) and Sab Shimono (WATERWORLD).
Film festivals around the country, including Florida, Hamptons'
International, and Asian Festival of Dallas, have bestowed awards
upon ROBOT STORIES.

This past August, Independent Pictures, in collaboration with Sparx
in the City, commissioned eight filmmakers to create eight short
films, shooting in one day on eight different street corners in
Cleveland. These films, shown as a collection at 8p, Sunday,
November 9, comprise the closing program of the 10 Year Anniversary
OIFF at Cleveland Public Theatre, 6415 Detroit Road (admission $10).
