OHIO INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL'S NINTH YEAR: Save the Date

CLEVELAND, OHIO-For the past nine years, the Independent
Pictures' sponsored Ohio Independent Film Festival has provided a
much needed venue for regional, national, and international film and
videomakers to showcase their craft.

This year, the festival runs from Saturday, November 2nd through
Sunday, November 10th. The event will include the festival's
usual mix of enlightening, engaging, and fascinating shorts programs
and features, as well as Script Mill, an unstaged reading of an award-
winning screenplay from the Ohio Independent Screenplay Awards.

The Ohio Independent Film Festival will open with workshops including
the annual Director of Photography workshop headlined by local
filmmaker, Robert Banks. The DP workshop provides hands-on
instruction and demonstration on lighting and filming a scene.

An added bonus to those submitting work to this year's festival
is a concurrent online festival, giving filmmakers the chance to show
their work to a potential audience of millions.

Please support the work of independent filmmakers by attending the
festival, November 2 – 10, and get a chance to see films of a
wide array of topics, viewpoints, and artistic visions not readily
available through Hollywood releases.

Independent Pictures supports emerging media artists and the
exhibition of their films and video projects to a wider audience
through the Ohio Independent Film Festival and other programs such as
the Ohio Independent Screenplay Awards, Script Mill, film training
programs, and workshops.
