Cleveland-5 CARD STUD, whose buzz has already started on the
Independent Film Channel's ifilm@ifc, will make its world premiere
next week at the 2001 Ohio Independent Film Festival & Market on
Friday, November 9 at 9AM at Cleveland Public Theatre, 6415 Detroit
Road (admission $10).
5 CARD STUD chronicles weekly poker games and the buddies who play,
their state of arrested adolescence, and Aly, the woman who changes
everything. An American independent, 5 CARD STUD displays the
feature film talents of some of television's best and brightest:
director Hank Saroyan (Jim Henson's Muppet Babies), writer/executive
producer Lawrence H. Toffler (Pacific Blue), and Khrystyne Haje (Head
of the Class, Step Sister from Planet Weird) as Aly.
