Save the dates for the 2009 Ohio Independent Film Festival (OIFF),
June 3 - 7 at Cleveland Public Theatre's Gordon Square Theatre, 6405 Detroit Ave
in Cleveland. The 2009 OIFF will mark the organization's 22nd festival in 15
years. Like many festivals, the Ohio Independent Film Festival presents an
internationally recognized
line-up of first-class independent films from around the world. The complete
schedule is posted at www.ohiofilms.com and tickets can be purchased at
www.ticketweb.com.
We are offering our own version of an arts stimulus package by offering free
admission on Saturday, June 6 at 6PM or Sunday, June 7 at 6PM. Two spectacular
feature films for free – just present your Ohio Unemployment Guide and get in
free for those two screenings. Donations accepted!
In the Saturday night feature at 6PM, ACTUALLY, ADIEU MY LOVE, the stories of
three young women from different backgrounds intersect but the depictions of the
three women actually represent one unified being in different points of life.
The Sunday night feature at 6PM is THE BUSINESS OF STORY - An anti-social
professor, desperate for tenure agrees to collaborate with her seemingly
delusional mother on a book of childhood reminiscences. This is presented with
the support of Geniocity.com.
