independent film "War Eagle, Arkansas" at the Ohio Independent Film
Festival!

go back to The Domestic Violence Center!
"War Eagle," starring Brian Dennehy, Mare Winningham and Mary Kay
Place is a character-driven drama about a young man's choice of
whether to leave his family and friends for a career in baseball or
stay and redeem his struggling community. The story takes place over a
few pivotal weeks in the summer after Enoch Cass' (played by Luke
Grimes of Dayton) senior year, and is set against the backdrop of
Arkansas' beautiful Ozark Mountains.
Tickets for the program are $10.00 for adults or $5.00 for children
under 18…but if you bring a donation of any unused, unopened product
of any of the following items:
• deodorant
• lotions
• baby wipes
• coffee
• women's socks or journals
you'll receive a $10.00 program ticket for just $5.00 (at the door)!
All products taken in that afternoon will be donated back to the
Domestic Violence Center of Cleveland!
The 2008 Ohio Independent Film Festival (OIFF) will be held
May 5-11 at Cleveland Public Theatre's Gordon Square Theatre,
6405 Detroit Ave in Cleveland, Ohio. The OIFF is among the leading
independent film events in Ohio; the 2008 OIFF will mark the
organization' s 21st festival in 15 years. Like many festivals, the
Ohio Independent Film Festival presents an internationally recognized
line-up of first-class independent films from around the world.
