Cleveland, Ohio-Congratulations to the finalists of the 2001 Ohio

created three years ago to specifically promote Cleveland as a
feature film shooting location, are the following:
· drama CHINESE BABY by Mollie Jones
· mystery/satire IMPERFECT STRANGERS by Don Bianchi
· drama SAYONARA TO HOME by Jane Boldizar.
The finalists for the Best Screenplay Award are the following:

The Ohio Independent Screenplay Awards introduce aspiring writers to
the professionals who can propel real writing careers. Over the past
four months, almost fifty Ohio Independent readers have participated
in our seasoned screening process to carefully choose this year's
finalists. They are now submitted to our film industry judges,
Patrick Markey, TC Rice, and Jai Khanna, who will choose the winning
screenplays. Mr. Markey is a major motion picture producer in
Hollywood. Mr. Rice is VP Distribution for Manhattan Pictures Intl.,
a distribution and production company founded by Paul Cohen. Mr.
Khanna is a Beverly Hills producer and literary manager, associated
with various prominent companies. The winning screenplays will be
announced next month.
