Independent Pictures (established in 1993) is a film arts organization dedicated to freedom of expression through the art of independent media. We accomplish this mission by encouraging emerging media artists and providing a consistent, reputable venue for media work the public may not otherwise see.

Independent Pictures facilitates grass roots networking for independent media makers, is the accessible step between local filmmakers and the larger world of independent film, and produces educational programs and workshops.
