Q: How did you start playing the vibes & what do you like about
playing that instrument? What brand did you play?

A: I started playing the vibes when I was 11. Everyone in my family
band played the usual instruments & it was all that was left. My
brother Tom bought me vibes set from a friend. I believe it was a
Musser. I loved the vibes because I could be very flashy when I played
my solos. Of course @ age 11 that was very important!
