I'm a fan of hers too. I am saddened by the loss of her. The world
lost a bit of happy times and cheesy poofs when she ended it.

Could loosing the Annie have triggered her?

I was watching Family Guy a few days ago when the Griffin family went
to Brown University for Meg to look and see if she could join and
later Peter took Meg's paper and re-wrote it so that Meg could have a
better chance of getting into Brown University about Luke Perry.
After the show, even tho the credits went by pretty quickly, I saw
Mary Kay's name! I think she voiced one of the college girls flirting
with baby Stewie.

I remember when I was still in high school, a senior actually, when I
read Mary Kay's death in People magazine. I was in a journalism class
and we had this thing to do current events and I did Mary Kay's death
as my thing one time. At the time I occasionally watched South Park
and really did like it and tried to watch it whenever I could, so it
was a bit of a sad time. I felt sorry for Dino for losing his wife
and Trey & Matt for losing a co-worker and friend. South Park's
females were never exactly the same again, I mean the other girls
they had on were talented but it wasn't just the same voice.

Mary Kay killed herself in 1999, just after the annie awards (she
was nominated for South Park - Bigger, Longer, Uncut). It was a sad
day for all of us to loose such a wonderful human being & friend.
you can catch me on-line if you need to know more.

On the disc 3, during the Badge of Gayness and Mr. Hankey's Christmas
Classics, on the commentary, Trey and Matt spoke about Mary Kay. They
said that she killed herself and they had a few shows left to do and
scrabbled around to make stories that wouldn't have any female
characters. Then they would grab anyone who was in the office to do
the female voices before they held any auditions. Also during Mr.
Hankey's Christmas Classics, if you look at the end of the last song,
South Park had a flash of Wendy, the Mayor, Lianne Cartman, etc. and
then a gathering of all the other women that Mary Kay has done. I
think some way that was their "tribute". I heard that there was "In
Memory of" on one of them but I've gone through every credits on the
3rd disc and couldn't find anything.
