To my friends,

If you don't know already, my father may have cancer. We don't know anything
yet, but it is a definite possibility. He went in for a bronchoscopy this
morning, and the doctor removed some "ratty tissue" from one of my father's
lungs. Even if the tissue comes back negative for cancer, the doctor might have
to take yet another sample. And again, even if the cancer is non-existant, the
abnormality will have to be removed, as it's making it difficult for my father
to breathe.

And so, I'm asking you to either pray for him or keep him in your thoughts. I'll
be eternally grateful if you do this, and I will not forget you.
