I remember a thread we had on the group a while ago where I asked
about Nancy's picture from "Swiss Master Chocolatier" (SMC)... I
think Gareth said it was a show and I said it's a restaurant and we
ended up agreeing that it was a show that was filmed in a
restaurant. So, I investigated the subject a little deeper and the
final conclusion is the right one. It was a show called "Table for
two" that was filmed in a restaurant. The host (or shall I say,
hostess) was a woman who IMO resembles a camal called Joanne Meral
and she can even be seen in one of the pictures with Nancy (she's
the one with a blue jacket and too much blue eyeshaddow). Here is a
viewer's review I found in IMDB:

"I love to eat! I loved this series. My love affair with this show
began in 1997 when I came across it while aimlessly channel surfing.
A food critics show, of all shows. These guys go to these ultra
plush eateries and chow down.

What a way to earn a living. Great show because these guys would
never agree on anything. Too bad it went off the air. Great PBS show
on eating, food and life in general. I loved it!"


So I assume Nancy was called in especially to eat and make an
opinion about the restaurant and the food and I truely hope she
enjoyed her meal... Guess Gareth and I weren't too far away from the
truth.
