On October 22, "Down By Law", Jarmusch's 1986 follow-up
to "Stranger Than Paradise", comes out on Criterion DVD. As Criterion
DVD's always are, this will be loaded with features.

Edition Details:
• Region 1 encoding (US and Canada only)
• Black & White, Widescreen
• Theatrical trailer(s)
• Comments and reflections by Jim Jarmusch
• Outtakes
• 2002 video interview with director of photography Robby Muller
• 1986 Cannes Film Festival press conference with Jarmusch and
stars
John Lurie, Roberto Benigni, and Nicoletta Braschi
• Q & A with Jim Jarmusch
• Isolated music track
• Production Polaroids
• Location stills
• Music video of Tom Waits' cover of Cole Porter's "It's All
Right
With Me," directed by Jim Jarmusch
• Widescreen anamorphic format

As you all know (I'm sure), "Down By Law" has been out
of print for years and is very hard to find. So now it's getting the
best possible treatment, a Critereon Edition.
