Welcome to the group.  There are nearly 150 people signed up for the listserv though most people are shy about posting.  I know people are getting the emails though because some have replied to me directly, and others have responded to notices requesting participation from local groups such as the Northampton Independent Film Festival and Main Street Motion Media's film series at the Academy.  There were a lot of in person film discussions in the first couple of years of the group but I haven't been organizing meetings in the last couple years but other people have organized some meetings during that time.  There are a lot of fascinating people on the listserv and I encourage people to post questions, comments, announcements and to organize meetings/discussions etc.
