The brand new website with RSS ("Real Simple Syndication") feeds for the Greater
Northampton area, now subscribes to the RSS for Movietalk (Noho Film Group's
website and
listserv). Messages you post are automatically included on the "Feeds" section
of the Local
Monkey website.

Local Monkey has been a long-brewing idea of mine to create a website with very
broad
features and content for the Northampton area. For now it has a variety of news
feeds,
making it an excellent source for information from a variety of sources
including Yahoo
groups, student newspapers, other news sites, and meetings announced through
Meetup.org

I have also placed a Noho Film Group signup box on Local Monkey, to increase our
membership. As always, new members will be emailed with a question that helps
verify that
they are not spammers.

The new site gives users lots of opportunities to choose what content is seen on
the site.
Please visit this new site and help support it by picking articles from the
feeds, voting on
articles, and making your voice heard in the forum. You can even add your own
descriptions
to articles you post. Users can add RSS feeds from local sites that they find
with an RSS
