5. MOVIE REVIEW(s)
================================================
Edited by Lori Kennedy.
Rugrats In Paris: The Movie
Starring: Debbie Reynolds, John Lithgow, Susan Sarandon
Rugrats in Paris is a take off of its cartoon well known by
children of all ages, and can be seen regularly on Nickelodeon.
This film is in such good nature, that not just the children will
enjoy it. Myself, a 26 year old mother thoroughly enjoyed it. As
a matter of fact, it brought tears to my eyes on several
occasions.
This film is based on the loving little red head Chuckie. Chuckie
is a 2 year old that lives with his father. His mother has passed
on and now all Chuckie wants is a new mommy. The remaining Rugrat
clan, Phil, Lil, Dil, Tommy and Angelica, are set to help Chuckie
with his search for a new mommy. The tiny terror Angelica,
decides to take things into her own hands for her own selfish
needs. Throughout this film, Chuckie learns the importance of
facing his fears and also learns that friendship and trust are
very important values.
I will not reveal if Chuckie gets his new Mommy, but I will say
for the soft at heart, dont forget the tissues.

thought's with us. We would love to hear them!

6. CELEBRITY PROFILE
==========
JENNIFER LOPEZ
================================================
Jennifer Lopez whose larger-than-life presence propelled her
from television to film roles, is the highest-paid Latina
actress with $1 million she is asking per film. Lopez was born
in the Bronx, New York on July 24, 1970. The daughter of a
computer specialist and kindergarten teacher, Lopez always knew
she wanted to be a performer. She started her showbiz career as
a dancer in stage musicals most notably in a European tour of
Golden Musicals of Broadway and in a Japanese tour of
Synchronicity and in various music videos. But it was when she
won a national competition of about two thousand contestants
vying to become one of choreographer Rosie Perez's "fly girl"
dancers on Fox's "In Living Color" that Lopez finally cracked
into Hollywood.
After a couple of seasons spent with "In Living Color" Lopez got
her shot at acting when a co-worker, whose husband was writing
and producing a pilot called "South Central" for Fox, suggested
her for a part. The show was practically over before it started,
but it did pave the actress's way into two more short-lived
series, "Second Chances" and "Malibu Road." Lopez effectively
brought her television career to an end in 1993, with a role as a
heroic nurse in Nurses on the Line: The Crash of Flight 7; the
siren call of the big screen could no longer be ignored.
In 1995, Lopez appeared in Gregory Nava's critically acclaimed Mi
Familia, a film that introduced the actress's talent to top
filmmakers. In 1996, she beat out Ashley Judd and Lauren Holly
for the supporting role of Robin Williams' teacher in the Francis
Ford Coppola comedy Jack. Since then Jennifer has gone on to star
in such films as Selena, Money Train, Anaconda, Blood and Wine,
and numerous others. Jennifer has been accredited as being People
magazine's Fifty Most Beautiful People for 1997. She has been
married once, but the marriage only lasted about a year and is
now currently dating Sean "Puffy" Combs. Jennifer's new album
entitled "JLO" hits the streets on January 23, just a few days
before you can see here starring in the film "The Wedding
Planner" with Matthew McConaughey scheduled for a January 26
release.
