'STAR TREK X: NEMESIS'?
According to a report at TrekToday, Paramount Pictures filed a
request to trademark "Star Trek: Nemesis" on June 18th. "Nemisis"
was one of many names rumored at an early stage to be the title
of what turned out to be "Insurrection," but this is the first
time Paramount has gone as far as officially registering it, the
site reports. In related news, Paramount has been actively
pursuing trademark registration for "Enterprise" properties,
including "Captain Jonathan Archer," "Ensign Hoshi Sato," "Travis
Mayweather," "Lieutenant Malcolm Reed," "Suliban," "T'Pol,"
"Phlox," and the unknown name "Porthos." It's unclear who or

'TIME MACHINE' MAY BE DELAYED?
While talking to SCI FI Wire, Orlando Jones said that because of
Simon Wells' departure from The Time Machine, he's not sure that
Dreamworks can complete work on the film in time for its intended
Christmas Day release. "I don't know how they're going to get
that film out," Jones said. "I was pretty sure that Simon was
going to burn out," Jones said. "It's his first live-action film.
He was shooting all day and editing all night because The Time
Machine is [due] out in December."
