Hi Movie Fans!

I missed all of you! As I'm sure most of you know, the Nascar
family lost a dear member and friend last Sunday. Thanks to my
father I have been a Nascar fan for about 15 years and
unfortunaly I was not immune to fealing the loss that so many
Nascar fans have been dealing with this past week. I send my
condolences to his family, friends, fans and anyone who was lucky
enough to know him. Thanks for everything Dale Earnhardt you will
be sadly missed.

On another note, I noticed that the Recommend-It button on the
homepage of the website was getting alot of use. It gave me the
idea to set one up and put it on the contest page. This should
make it easier to refer your family and friends. Check it out for
yourself. For our new readers, visit
http://www.movie-fever.com/contest.htm to find out what I'm
talking about and learn how you can win a $40 gift certificate to
any online store of your choice.

1.QUOTE OF THE WEEK
======================

The Mississippi River broke through a protective dike today. What
is a protective dike? Is it a large woman that says "Don't go
near there! Don't go down by the river!" ...No, we can't say
"dyke" on the air, we can't even say "lesbian" anymore, it's
"women in comfortable shoes."

Adrian Cronauer - Good Morning, Vietnam (1987)

IN THE NEWS - Television

'GALACTICA' COMING BACK TO TV
This was one of my favorite shows as a kid and now there's word
that Bryan Singer who directed "X-Men" will revive the series.
According to Variety columnist Michael Fleming, Singer has struck
a deal with USA Studios to reinvent the '70s TV series. (Glad to
hear that one).

SCHEDULE CHANGE FOR 'KIDS'
According to the Hollywood Reporter, ABC has pushed back the
debut date of its much-anticipated Damon Wayans comedy "My Wife
and Kids" to spare it the hardship of having to compete against
CBS' "Survivor" during its first two airings. The sitcom was
scheduled to air Wednesday, March 14, in the 8 p.m. slot. But CBS
is temporarily relocating "Survivor" to Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on
March 14 and March 21 from Thursdays to make room for its
coverage of the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament.
"Kids" will premiere at 8pm on Wednesday, March 28.

ANOTHER SEASON FOR 'THE MOLE'
ABC has ordered up 13 more episodes of "The Mole" to be aired
sometime next season.

'SURVIVOR' PIG KILLING
Did you watch "Survivor" two weeks ago when they killed that pig?
Well now Queensland animal protection authorities want to see it
as well. The orginization wants to see if the program breaches
cruelty laws. The episode, which aired in the United States on
Feb. 15, will be screened next week in Australia. The pig killing
caused an uproar among U.S. animal rights groups, which described
it as gratuitous. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals
complained to the state government in Queensland, where the show
was filmed last year, asking it to investigate.
