Re: [Mo Henry Fan Club] Mo is one busy schmoe!

It is my understanding that negative cutting is not the physical snipping of
film with scissors. Rather it's the seemless alignment of a director's
takes -- as in "CUT! Do it again, but this time, more intensity." -- which
has a digital counterpart where instead of cutting with scissors, one cuts
with CTRL-C -- or, more likely, something with an open-apple, or a big red
key.

Interesting... I never realized that. So is 'negative cutting' and 'splicing' one in the same? At any rate, digital 'is' pretty good, like, I have nothing...

I would be more concerned about the switch to digital when it comes to negative cutting. No film = no negatives to cut, right?...
