I can't believe it!!

This is cool. This is way to cool to be real.
Over the past couple years I have begun to really
notice names on movie credits - at first they kind of
blur together, y'know, but about three years ago I had
become a firm believer in staying through the end to pay
homage where homage is due. And Mo Henry has been a
fascination with me for about a year now. I was perplexed,
and no one I know seemed to know who this person
was...so every time I would sit through the credits, I
found myself waiting to see Mo's name. And sure enough,
what feels like a majority of the time it WAS there!
And then there'd be this rush - because, well, who IS
this person! This is my new hero and I don't even know
who it is. And is it a man? A woman? And recently I
began to become downcast - thinking it just might be a
company and not one person...
AND THEN I FOUND THIS
WEBSITE!! And it IS a single person! And she's a WOMAN!!
Right on!! And there are other crazy people out there
like me! I'm NOT alone in my Mo fascination!! There is
great rejoicing happening in my apartment!!
. .
.so, yeah, that's all I really wanted to say...for the
two of you who might have actually read this whole
freaking long message (which wasn't intended to be so
long) - like probably Bill because he's the
founder/ring leader (right?).
And Mo, if you ever check
this site again (it was SO great to read messages from
you yourself!!) I would absolutely, positively LOVE
to know if there would ever be any chance of meeting
you!! You rock my world! I can't even tell you how much
I admire you and in my idealistic reality, your job
will NOT become obsolete - EVER - because film is film
because it's FILM. There is an artistry to film that
CANNOT be replaced by digital media. Yeah, there are
some cool things about digital, but my heart - and the
artist in my - rests with film. With the process of
production and it all coming together at once (not being
"fixed" digitally later) and then being cut by people
wonderful people like yourself for a picture that is a
piece of art, team art. {whew} okay, I think I can step
off my soapbox now...
Everyone have a fantastic
new year, and happy movie watching.
