Hi Gang,
I have put this following experimental equation into question:
What do you think the many '60s and '70s Bee Gees songs (esp. from the 1974-79 disco era) would sound like if they were sung by the 1979-83 incarnation of the six members who made up the original Brady Bunch Kids plus Geri Reischl (who played Jan on The Brady Bunch Variety Hour)?
The Bee Gees:
BARRY ALAN CROMPTON GIBB (b. 9/1/46, turned 33 on 9/1/79; grammar school class of 1961) -- vocals (lead & background), guitars (acoustic & electric), songwriter
ROBIN HUGH GIBB (b. 12/22/49, turned 30 on 12/22/79; grammar school class of 1965) -- vocals (lead & background), songwriter
MAURICE ERNEST GIBB (b. 12/22/49, turned 30 on 12/22/79; grammar school class of 1965) -- guitars (acoustic & electric), bass guitar, keyboards, vocals (background), multi instruments, songwriter
The Brady Bunch Kids:
MAUREEN DENISE McCORMICK (b. 8/5/56, turned 23 on 8/5/79; high school class of 1974) -- as Marcia Brady
EVE ALINE PLUMB (b. 4/29/58, turned 21 on 4/29/79; high school class of 1976) -- as Jan Brady
SUSAN MARIE OLSEN (b. 8/14/61, turned 18 on 8/14/79; high school class of 1979) -- as Cindy Brady
BARRY WILLIAMS (b. 9/30/54, turned 25 on 9/30/79; high school class of 1972) -- as Greg Brady
CHRISTOPHER ANTON KNIGHT (b. 11/7/57, turned 22 on 11/7/79; high school class of 1975) -- as Peter Brady
MICHAEL PAUL LOOKINLAND (b. 12/19/60, turned 19 on 12/19/79; high school class of 1979) -- as Bobby Brady
GERI LEE REISCHL (b. 12/31/59, turned 20 on 12/31/79; high school class of 1978) -- as Jan Brady (II) from the Brady Bunch Variety Hour
I think this equation could sell because given the fact Barry Gibb's mid-'70s falsetto vocal tracks are difficult for most men, the three original Brady girls plus the "fake Jan" could easily hit these highs. But I am not so sure if the three Brady boys can quite easily hit the eldest Gibb brother's high notes.
What do you think?
