After reading the last digest, I have to say that I
hope the site won't vibrate with negative feelings to
the point of it being discontinued. I would not want
that kind of atmosphere to be present should Maureen
look in from time to time.

One thing I've seen from the year I've been in this
group is that Maureen is strong on family. We should
remember also that it hasn't been that long since
Irene passed away, and you don't get over that in a
short time, nor ever fully get over it. You always
miss the one lost. Grieving is a long process -
anniversaries of the passing on come up, memories
surface that remind you of the loved one lost, etc.,
and when you think you're "over it" it smacks you in
the face again, sometimes feeling like it did the
first time.

(People know this - I'm not saying anything new, it's
only a reminder.) My point is - let's allow Maureen
her own timetable of grieving and the time she needs
to spend with her family, and raising a teenage
daughter. This is the most important thing if we have
any amount of sensitivity. Please let's not get too
argumentive - debate is fine, opinions fine. But as I
said, I hope a spirit of negativity will not pervade
this site to the point that Maureen becomes negatively
affected with it if she looks in. And Lennon is right
in that Maureen is taking time for her family. It's
what she's doing, simply said. And it is a sensitive
time for her family - let them be together and
support one another, and let us dialogue on Maureen
and her career alongside, express opinions about her,
talk about favourite songs, tv appearances, future
endeavours, whatever.
