I did think the opening was a little BladeRunner-esque (another
flick that seemed to suffer from excess voiceover) as I'd put it
together. This because a couple of major characters have to be
dropped in there to fill out the action I'd intended.

On another note, I read recently (Cinefex) that APOCALYPTO's teaser
was filmed first as a sort of dry run, to case out the locations and
pave the way for the processes they'd have to expect when filming the
actual movie. Sort of like a Cliff's Notes version. I know it's
been done before because there's a handful of films I've seen
trailers with footage that was reshot and so never went to the
theatrical release. But this is the first time I've seen someone
admit to it...!

Also found out from Cinefex that ZODIAC's flying footage was almost
entirely CG. Good grief. Wow, I say.
