In early April, the first Michigan Movie Networking Event became the largest coming together of film professionals in Michigan's history. In September we expect even greater networking accomplishments when the Michigan Movie Networking Event II takes place-
When: Saturday September 26th, 12:00 to 6:00 pm
V.I.P. Coctail Party to follow, 6:00 pm sharp.
Where: Greektown Casino, 555 E. Lafayette Blvd., Detroit, Mi.

Expanding the venue to Greektown Casino reflects the tremendous growth in Michigan's film industry. This summer more then forty films are scheduled to be filmed in Michigan, and the states college's, trade schools, and universities continue to graduate professionals eager for a chance to break into the business. With all that is happening in the state, we anticipate upwards of 3,000 to 4,000 individuals at this event.
If visibility within the Michigan film community is important to you, you will want to co-sonsor this important industry event. What's more, a portion of your sponsorship is tax deductible as all proceeds from the event will support the not-for-profit (501(c)3) "Michigan Marquee" TV show to broadcast on Detroit's Public Television Station WTVS.

The Michigan Movie Networking Event II is hosted by Vanir Entertainment, a Rochester Hills-based multi-media entertainment company. The weekly, half-hour “Michigan Marquee” will feature interviews with industry insiders and up-to-date reports on film projects across the state.
