Oakland Community College's Short Term Training Program is holding a
two-class, 80-hour-total program called Film Industry Training (FIT
for short). It's being coordinated through Michigan Works, but you
can get more information by calling 248-232-4182. Classes begin
February 2, and the classes are Training Overview and
Grip/Electrical/Generator Operator/PA courses. Both courses have
internships attached, and the cosponsor, S3 Entertainment Group, will
help with job placement after the courses are completed.
