If anyone is interested, Craigslist has postings for Michigan & metro
Detroit people looking for actors, extras and crew. Some are actually
paying gigs. Most are not genre, if that is a concern. It's good for
the experience, if nothing else. I've been an extra for a TV pilot to
be shown this January, and in a roller derby movie Dew Barrymore was
in town shooting last month, so you might be able to get a gig if you
try.
