Re: New idea for a short skit

Bill, gimme a list of location establishing shots you might want.  I can work off it when I'm out and about with the camera, and I have to do some on-the-road experimentation anyway. Have to see how useful this phone is for this sort of thing.

If you're not familiar with the Sharp TM150 it records 11-30 second videos at a time and might be good for stills and minumum movement video, even when I'm out of minutes.  I'm working on better-quality solutions without having to buy anything.  If the short is destined for webcast I don't think you need DVD-quality to put something in the can but that's me.

Also ConFusion is looking for things to do with its program space on Sunday of the convention.  Might want to keep that in mind if you want  to do some taping in temperatures above 40 degrees next month. Jeff Beeler is the person to ask if you can do some, and if you do post a casting call to michiganfandom.  You can take the month to come up with script but you probably need a general casting requirement to start with. I live near the hotel so I can go there anytime to make short location clips.

Equipment I got. {Money? What's that?} From my experience, the best way to start is to get the script done first... then locations can be found, casting can...

The funnier those marks are the better. Post the script (or a link to it) and a tentative plan for locations, and a call for performers and crew. Volunteers...
