Ms. Forbes began her acting career in theatre, and moved to TV in 1987 starring in 'The Guiding Light' as one of soap's most memorable villainesses, earning her a nomination for a Daytime Emmy award.
Roles since have included appearing alongside Brad Pitt, David Duchovny and Juliette Lewis in the acclaimed thriller 'Kalifornia'; playing a fierce advertising executive alongside Kevin Spacey in 'Swimming With Sharks'; roles in 'Homicide: Life on the Street' and 'The District'; playing a deaf mute in 'Messiah'; Ensign Ro on 'Star Trek: The Next Generation'; and starring as the President's loyal aide in the second season of FOX's '24', which earned her a Screen Actors Guild nomination as part of the Best Ensemble Cast.
She starred in "Dandelion", and headlined the Mark Burnett series "Global Frequency" which, sadly was not picked up beyond a pilot episode.
Michelle has just finished filming of her very peculiar character, Mariann, in the second season of HBO "True Blood."
She seems now focusing on her role of Dr. Pen Verrity in "Durham County."
