I tried to post something yesterday but it seems
to have vanished! Just wanted to let the US members
know that the Ros videos are now available in their
formet. They are well worth buying if your own set is
getting worn with age; the colours are fantastically
vivid. I heard tell DVDS may be available much later in
the year but who know?
Janet
I though nightflyer was ok. but never as good as
ROS. Was hoping they might bring back ROS new
episodes. now that would be neat. or maybe a movie.
Something better then Robin hood prince of thieves. I'm
sorry Kevin costner just failed as robin. We need a
more convincing one like Michael or even Jason
connery.

What does everyone else think??

RoS is the best thing that Michael has been in; I
also like Writer's Block (he looks really good in that
one!). I guess Nightflyers is my least favorite but only
because I have never really liked space movies. Denise.
All you Ros fans should check out our convention
page at www.wayland.swinternet.co.uk. We keep updating
and we've added a few new pics of michael.
A
question for everone out there: what's yourfavourite thing
you've seen MP in?
And your least favourite?
Has
anyone save me seen his cameo in Darkness
Falls?
Janet
Hi! I've been posting to the other club (under
the name Orias) till I suddenly figured out there
were TWO michael chats and this one was far more
active! So from now onwards I will come here! I've been a
fan of Michael since '84 and first met him at a US
con in '89. Since then I've met up with him many,
many times when he's done plays in the UK; sometimes
me and my friends have gone for drinks and/or dinner
with him. He's a terribly nice, ordinary guy. I
haven't seen him for a while though: he dropped out of a
play called DANGEROUS TO KNOW to film a series in
Canada called THE SCRET ADVENTURES OF JULES VERNE. he
was out there for a year, but unfortunately there's
been no word of this show airing in either the UK or
the US, and he seems to be just taking it easy and
spending time with his kids right now. i hope he gets back
on stage or something soon; this guy's too talented
to sit on the backseat too long! A movie called
DARKNESS FALLS in which he played a cameo as a terrorist
(one line!) has recently appeared here in the uk but I
don't know if it will go to the US or not.
Janet
Hi all!
I dont know how many of you are
interested, but after
major looking I found a place that
sells videos of the
first 2 seasons of Robin of
Sherwood with Michael
Praed! They come in 2 formats:
PAL format (standard
fomat for the UK) and NSTC
format (format the US uses.
For a little bit more
they will convert from PAL to
NSTC for you.) Dont
ask me how much the videos are
because I havent
quite figured out the conversion for
British pounds.
But here is the
website:http://www.videoempire.com/index2.htm
Just type in Robin of
Sherwood in the search and click
on go!
Kelly
Someone who has met him e-mailed me and said that
he is very nice and polite to everyone and that he
does not mind talking with fans and letting them take
pictures of him. Now I really want to meet him. Denise
r look for Yahoo Club's "The Greenwood HideAway"
Robin Hood club!

We would like to get a chat
going on our club site Saturday. Check our message
boards for details or e-mail me: mmcottage@.... OR
LOL ICQ me: 12784025.

You all are invited to
participate! :)

Hope to see you there.
hanks for inviting me to the club. Micheal is
great and I have adored him since I first saw him in
the series in the 80's and I was only 5 yrs old, but
I did think of him more as a father figure when I
was that age! Nowadays of course, its a different
matter! His character was so strong and he portrayed him
really well.
was almost a kid when I saw Michael for the
first time. I remember my reaction "Oh my God, he's the
most beautiful man in the world". Even now I can see
him with his bow and arrow the way I saw him
then.
Everything was so simple, I can say I had been really in
love with him:))))) for about a year.
The situation
changed when I saw for the first time Jason Connery in
the second part of Robin of Sherwood.
It was like
a lightning. "Jesus he ist far prettier than
Michael" :))) came throuout my mind.
I can say it was a
real? love. I think it is a kind of "love" even now.
Maybe I am sentimental and have wonderful
memories.
With my friend, Marion, I had been writing fictious
letters from Robert of Huntington to Lady Marian for a
year - 162:))).
I keep all of them and sometimes
read them with real pleasure.
Maybe some day I
will show them to all of you. Maybe.... They are
probably too personal...
So why Michael, not
Jason????
I am almost fifteen years older than in that day,
and I simply noticed, that Jason is very pretty,
charming, but without strong, real personality. Michael is
so different. He is simply wonderful!!! Now while
watching Robin of Sherwood I can see that. I think, I
simply had to grow up to realize and understand
that.
So, that's enough. This message is very long and
personal too. I am looking forward to your
replies.
MAIRON
hank you for joining us.
I should be very

you can to join us. Let us create a huge
