Midnight Insanity Presents its Fifth International Rocky Horror Convention,
"Pirates of Transylvania: The Search For Booty"

Dear Rocky Horror Fan-

On July 26-29, 2007, the "World Famous" Midnight Insanity will host a four day
long Pirate-Themed Rocky Horror Convention. Due to a technical error outside our
control, emails and notifications regarding this event, which were supposed to
be sent out months ago, were never released.

Pirates of Transylvania is going to be a MONSTERCON! It is being hosted aboard
the legendary RMS Queen Mary, permanently docked in beautiful Long Beach,
California. This convention features All-Star performances of the Rocky Horror
Picture Show and Shock Treatment, the Spike & Mike Sick and Twisted Festival of
Animation, RHPS merchandise vendors, preshow by Rocky Horror icon Sal Piro,
special performances including a fabulous Trixie Review, dancing, drinking, and
live bands in the most majestic ballroom on the ship, and much, much more! This
will be an event you won’t want to miss!

Due to the unfortunate delay in notification, we are extending casting deadlines
for both live performances until July 15th. There is still time to send in your

Deadlines are fast approaching!!  Rooms aboard the Queen Mary are reserved
through TODAY!! (June 26th)

After today, our block of rooms will be released to the general public.  You may
still be able to get a room after the 26th if one is available, it's just easier
to do it now.

Note: The Queen Mary will not charge the first night to your card, that's

Additional notes from Mark:

The convention is on the Queen Mary Luxury Liner and we are using various
ballrooms at various times throughout the con. Our own theater is not large
enough for most con events but is also onboard. We have scheduled two showings
of the Spike and Mike Sick and Twisted Festival of Animation on Friday afternoon
so as not to conflict with con events and we can fit everyone in who wants to go
to one showing or the other.

We have also scheduled a Dance Til Dawn in our regular theater as a reception
after Shock Treatment in the Grand Ballroom on Friday.

AND We will be having a con edition of Rocky Stock, our annual multi cast
picnic, as the going away event for Sunday. This may be at the Queen Mary lawn
or at a nearby beach, depends on what kind of deal we can get on sunscreen.

People are already starting to register and the block of rooms closes several
weeks before the con because the hotel sells out every weekend. Be sure and
register or at least book your rooms well in advance. We are just now in the
time frame where we can start to approach some guests and will announce any as
they commit.

Hi, I'm from Heavy Petting. If you weren't in the show you probably
didn't get to meet me but, I'm the props mistress. I can't wait for
this next con. The only sad thing is that it ends exactly a month
before my 21st birthday but I really doubt like this con anyone will
care if I drink.
