   'Claustrophobia', as I prefer to call it, is going to be released on

   Excellent, excellent news. According to IMDB, Lynskey is currently
in the midst of filming 'Flags Of Our Fathers', which is directed by
Clint Eastwood. As yet, there is no character name mentioned, but that

According to The Internet Movie Database, Melanie Lynskey is soon to
begin working on her latest film project, 'Park'. It is currently
scheduled to be released next year. I'll give you more details on this

There are new photos of Mel at a CBS TCA Q & A session in Getty
Images. She seems unfazed by the fact that she was robbed of an Emmy
nomination for the category of Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy
show.

Melanie Lynskey has, I'm sorry to say, has not been given an Emmy
nomination in the category of Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy
Series. Her co-stars, Holland Taylor and Conchetta Farrell, have, but
she has been unjustly snubbed. This fact should not surprise me in the
least, though, because, to the best of my knowledge, she has only won
one award on her own, and that was for the Best Actress category at
the New Zealand Film & TV Awards, which was eleven years ago. I think
that it is a disgrace that she should be treated so shabbily.

Things have been very quiet recently regarding Melanie Lynskey. Not
much news, I'm afraid. I know that she has been starring in 'Two-And-A-
Half Men', but her latest project 'Heart Of Gold' has vanished off her
IMDB page. I don't know whether it has fallen through completely or
whether she has landed another role. If anyone hears any news, please
post it here.

i think that melanie lynskey is a beautiful and talented actress and seems
like a terrific person as well. but i want nothing to do with anything
having to do with you. if that means following mel's career on my own, i

    Just thought you ought to know that I am still on the look out
for any British magazines that have conducted interviews with
Melanie Lynskey in the past. So far, my own search has turned up
nothing, but I refuse to believe that she was never asked by any of
the celebrity & film magazines to do an interview, particularly
during 1995, the year of her discovery, or during 1998, the year
when her career was resurrected. Please help me to find something
along those lines. I will be continuing my own search, but I would
welcome a little help.

    Melanie has been at a lot of fashion gatherings lately. This
leads me to believe one of two things. Either she has finished work
on 'Heart Of Gold' and is waiting for that all-important role that
will be her breakthrough into major league stardom or the 3rd series
of 'Two-And-A-Half Men', or the film is still in its pre-production
period, and she is waiting around into principal photography begins.

    Set your video recorders to 8.29pm on Channel Five. According to
TV Tome, Melanie Lynskey will be in tonight's episode of 'Two-And-A-
Half Men'. She wasn't in last week's episode, in which Jake lets the
seagulls into his bedroom, but she is in this one. I'll be recording
it on the digital TV system on my computer and then burn it onto
disc, so watch this space for possible screencaptures.

Hi, Colette!

    It's nice to see someone supporting me for a change. All I
usually get is abuse for wanting Melanie Lynskey to become more
famous, but it is always a relief to know that there others who
agree with me about Lynskey being snubbed by the British celebrity
magazines. She is starting to make a name for herself in America,
even though she still hasn't been picked up on Hollywood's radar,
but over here, she is little more than a name on an obscure trivia
question. It's also good that you are keen to follow my example and
write letters to the British celebrity magazines, in order for them
to start noticing her. I am sick of OK and Hello featuring Katie
Price(Jordan) and Jade Goody all the time. Neither of them boast any
recognisable talent. I blame the UK agency that represented her.
They never took the time to set up any interviews, which is one of
the reasons why she is still unknown in the UK. I am more dedicated
than ever before to raise her profile as a celeb in this country.
I'll tell you how it went with my letters, if you tell me how things
went with yours.
