Hi Mel fans -

For those of you who don't know, the thriller I made starring Melanie Lynskey,
CLAUSTROPHOBIA, has been released by Lions Gate Home Video in the US
and Canada on December 14. Please note: Lions Gate has retitled it SERIAL
SLAYER. Yes, I agree, it's an awful title. But the studio didn't alter my film
at
all, and Mel's in it throughout. Personally, I think she did a wonderful job.
It's a
very subtle performance, but she explores a lot of emotional areas that she
hasn't had a chance to explore in film for some time.

Most video chains in the US and Canada carry SERIAL SLAYER, though
some of their individual stores do not. In short, if your local store doesn't
carry
it, ask them to order it: They probably will! Netflix has it as well.

If there are any Norwegians out there, both CLAUSTROPHOBIA (under its
original title) and my first film, FOREIGN CORRESPONDENTS, which also
stars Mel, are now available on DVD in the kingdom of Norway.

I am trying to get more international sales. I will let you know whenever
either
film comes out in a new country. There's no need for you to ask me when, as I
obviously wouldn't hide this information from fans and I'll be happy to share
this news the moment I can.
