Vi inoltro un estratto da un articolo che parte
dalla clamorosa caduta di tono di X-files e cita anche
Friends come uno dei telefilm che hanno perso smalto. Non
prendetevela se è un po' cattivo, è questione di opinioni, io
sono abbastanza neutrale verso questa settima season
(e assolutamente spoilerfree tranne che per due cose
di numero) visto che già la sesta non mi aveva
proprio entusiasmato a parte qualche raro caso.

instance, a stuffy<br>&gt;psychiatrist who has been a
prime-time presence for 17 years, since his<br>&gt;memorable
1984 introduction on Cheers. Frasier concludes its
eighth season<br>&gt;tonight, and its writing remains
brainy and bright -- no easy task when
you're<br>&gt;crafting a character's 978th snotty zinger about French
wine. The Drew Carey<br>&gt;Show, meanwhile, is two
years the junior of the NBC staple, and it's
wheezing<br>&gt;worse than its titular character on a Stairmaster.
Which means, at least, that<br>&gt;it's in better
condition than Friends, which quite simply has fallen and
can't<br>&gt;get up.<br>&gt;<br>&gt;Loyal enthusiasts of the
long-running NBC hit, which last week completed
its<br>&gt;seventh season, may still derive a weekly dollop of
comfort from glimpsing<br>&gt;these five familiar faces
(Matthew Perry's mug, alas, can no longer be
deemed<br>&gt;"familiar" on account of its ever-changing size, shape and
hue). But by even<br>&gt;the most generous gauge, the
program has fallen off the funny tree. Its
season<br>&gt;finale, in which we were asked to consider Chandler's
repeated loosening of his<br>&gt;necktie to be the zenith
of comedy, recycled so many sitcom conventions
that<br>&gt;the episode biodegraded right before our eyes. It's
not a sitcom anymore, it's<br>&gt;sit-compost, and
NBC will keep sprinkling it on to its Thursday
schedule in the<br>&gt;hopes that a decomposing Friends
can still help the network's other
comedies<br>&gt;grow and prosper.
