This site is in honor of the beautiful Bond Girl and Hammer Film Babe, Martine Beswick. Martine was born in Port Antonio, Jamaica on September 26, 1941. She was a former Miss Jamaica, who became a cult film fatale in the 60’s and 70’s. Martine first appeared in the James Bond film “From Russia With Love” in 1963 as “Zora”, the gypsy girl who squared off against “Vida” played by Aliza Gur. Martine appeared in the 4th Bond movie “Thunderball” in 1965, as 007’s assistant “Paula Caplan”. In addition, Beswick portrayed “Nupondi” in the film “One Million Years B.C.”, where she was in the famous cat fight with “Loana” played by the beautiful Raquel Welch. Martine is also well known for her performance as “Queen Kari” in the movie “Prehistoric Women”, and as the feminine side in the movie “Dr. Jekyl and Sister Hyde”. Although the sexy Beswick appeared in many more lesser films, these films talked about above are what have made her best known. She is also credited as “Martine Beswicke” in some sites. It is surprising why there is not more mention of her on the web, as she made a great temptress, provided the screen with a sultry style, and I for one can’t get enough of her. Despite her small roles in the James Bond films that she appeared in, she is my all-time favorite Bond Girl. Thank You Martine for being so gorgeous.
