Hi, Everyone!
Just discovered this group and HAD to join! I play Luke
Skywalker in a big production independent film (full-length feature)
ABOUT "Star Wars" )not an actual "Star Wars" film - to avoid
confusion) by Catchphrase Entertainment. Rea;l "Star Wars" actors
appear in the film with me - including Carrie Fisher, David Prowse,
and other important characters. They contacted Mark Hamill about
this and passed a group of photos of me as Luke and as muyself. His
manager and agent and he himself WERE excited about the idea BUT
Mark's being stuck in London on other projects kept him away.

For whatever reason, they made me the main star of their film. AND
they were fascinated by the fact that I grew up adopted - everything
kept from me about my biological parents / my true oorigins, etc.
Everything else I tried failed all my life, so I began to accept
that I might NEVER find anything out. Along the way, not thinking
anything of it, I put my birth information out on adoption reunion
sites. Years later, unexpectedly, recently,literally on Thanksgiving
Day, I got the first email from a woman who DID turn out to be my
biological mother. She did not remember enough info to find my bio
fathewr, though, but she did marry after I was born and her family
forced her to give me up. She had 3 sons by that man - who she is
still married to, and so I now have 3 half-brothers.

Well, I met them all for the very first time in person last month.
They all get together and stay in my one brother's very large house
for over a week for the 4th of July & Thanksgiving. I got invited
for this 4th of July reunion and literally met them all in one fell
swoop! They were beyond welcoming and treat me as if I'd ALWAYS been
a part of their faily, and consider me just as much of a family
member as anyone else!

However, the only thing left NOW is to find my natural FATHER, and
the quest has been on and this is where the film crew found me. I
was already performing as Luke for the Hollywood public regularly,
but they found me and my real-life story fascinating. And so now,
here I am and they are trying to finish up editing on this movie
now. They had me performing as Luke and they also followed me around
with cameras for months - filming me wake up, (literally - that's an
interesting story in itself), brushing my teeth, etc., having
breakfast, lunch, & dinner, doing my errands, going to work, hanging
out with my friends, going to occasional nightclubs, falling asleep -
you name it! And they filmed me trying to search the net and other
venues for clues about how to find my natural father. It took
getting used to - living on camera.

So, that is a brief summary about what's going on and why I am
even MORE of a fan of mark / Luke than ever. Another thing Mark and
I have in common - we;ve both played Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in
stage productions of "Amadeus". Mine was community theater, though,
and hardly as big of a venue as Mark's version was.

I also have a knack for special FX makeup. My very first attempt at
it was in 1989 for Halloween costume contests and was very
successful. I bought and put on a padded replica of the costume and
made myself up as Jack Nicholson's JOKER from the first "Batman"
movie. Later on, along comes the new "Batman" animated series and
who winds up as the voice of the animated Joker? Mark!! So, I
actually have THREE connections to the man and only ONE was anywhere
near intetional - my favorite film - Luke - because I always
related SO much to him! And now, here I am in a large-scale indie
film getting to STAR as Luke alongside real "Star Wars" actors! Can
you beat THAT?!

Well, I'm sorry to have gotten on an explanation tangent, I've
created a photo album here on this group page containg a small
sample of my photo collection as Luke while performing for this
film / posing for green screen (they are adding SW-like CGI behind
me in the green screen photos). The photo album is called "HOLLYWOOD
