If you haven't already got it, there is one album you simply MUST
get, the British Cast recording of The Hot Shoe Shuffle. Louise sings
on it. I got it last August and it has seldom been out of my CD
player since. In fact "do you want to know what it's really like? -
FANTASTIC".
Louise does the jazz type numbers on it really well, with a lot of
feeling, (which is perhaps hardly surprising after what I read about
her music background in Time Out the other week!)
Anyway it is definitely a good CD to get, indeed get and and "Gee how
lucky can you get".
I think the MM OLC is also worth having, especially for Louise's solo
on it (Does You're Mother Know), which I think is the best version of
that song I have ever heard, far better than the original ABBA
recording of the song, and indeed rather better sung than the two
versions I've actually heard of it in MM.
Anyway, you really MUST get the HSS album. It's just such a wonderful
one if you like Louise Plowright's lovely rich powerful singing voice.
Best Wishes
