Well I don't know if this counts as "recent", but
I saw it on the 7th June 2001, and I have posted a
review of that night on the web - you will find it at
the following URL:

of the other Dynamo's had a not very
good sub on, which was having something of a
detrimental effect on the show. And some of the other cast
members were performing a bit sluggishly. But Louise did
her utmost to rectify the situation and make that
night;'s performance go over well. I couldn't help
noticing that she seemed to know just when the audience
needed someone to snap into action and wake them up (as
she did with the title song), and she's so alert as
what her co-stars are doing. I was fascinated to watch
her in the "bedroon scene" with Rosie and Tanya.
Lelsey Coleman did Tanya rather too priggishly -
shouldn't that character be a bit more fun? It soon got her
into difficulties, how would she ever convincingly
persuade Donna to do that number at the hen night. Louise
saved the day, by altering her own performance as Donna
to make it look at though Donna was rather more
inclinded to be just waiting for an excuse to let her hair
down.

Honestly her alertness, and her ability
to actually THINK when she's on stage is just
brilliant! I've never seen anyone who could adept their
performance to suit their fellow performer's capabilities as
well as she can, and certainly I've never seen someone
who could do it on the spot like that! She's a real
leading lady.

Best Wishes
Emma
