Live From...the Hook Premiere

YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS THIS!

The big news is...we are finally wrapping up production on "Live from . . . the Hook"!!!

On July 26th, 2008, our rockumentary returns home at long last to the Paramount Theater in Charlottesville, VA for a high noon summer premiere, and as if that wasn't enough to sustain you...

A multi-course dessert follows with an all-day music festival at the Charlottesville Pavilion on the Downtown Mall!

Our premiere celebration will be a can't miss opportunity to bring our passionate community of music lovers together for a big day of rockin' good memories and timeless live performances. This promises to be the biggest and best party we have seen in years.

We will start the day around noon at the spectacularly renovated Paramount Theater (truly a palace, and the best possible showcase for our much-improved film). Then, as soon as the screening is completed we can all amble down to the end of the Downtown Mall to grab a beer and catch a dream-team concert festival. The lineup will include:

...and other special guests who are near and dear to our hearts.

Please plan right now to come to the Hook to celebrate this great weekend of music. Here are a few hints on what to expect for the weekend:

• This will be our first screening of the final release version of Live From...the Hook, and we have been working very hard to make this the best possible film since our earlier screenings as a "work in progress". The film has really come a long way from those earlier cuts, and we think that you will love the improvements (including more and better archival live performance footage!).

• You might want to try to arrive in town early on Friday evening (July 25) for the FREE "Fridays after Five" concert at the Pavilion to kick things off! (Fridays will also feature a band we all love, but they are not ready to release the name yet). Book a hotel room and make a weekend out of it, and expect to rock 'till you drop!

• We are not yet prepared to announce an on-sale date for tickets. For updates including ticket information and more, return often to Live from...the Hook's website at http://www.livefromthehook.com.

• We are working on a block of hotel rooms for the event, and we will release information on this around the end of March.

• Information on the DVD release of the film will also be forthcoming in the near future.
