July 9
Dick,
Allow me to be the 17th person to tell you that Starr
Hill padlocked its doors on Saturday July 7. 7-7-7.
Play the number; don't book the hall. Satellite
Ballroom is, however, open, and "partnering" with the
old Starr Hill crowd, so we'll see where that takes
you.
An alternative might be Terry Martin at Outback Lodge.
Hawks have played there - kind of a mini Mineshaft
with a very easy load in. Terry's cellphone is (434)
960-9298. He books in advance. Mention Charlie's name;
he likes Charlie and tolerates me. How unusual. Give
me any information and I'd be happy to distribute it
to my Hurricane list.
Lovingly,
$%^&&
