Hi everyone,

It ain't the whole band, but we do what we can, what with members
scattered over three continents. Paul Hammond, Steve Riggs and I
will play the first of two trio gigs at Escabar, corner of Grove and
Libbie, Richmond, on Friday, July 20, approx. 9:00 PM. If it isn't a
disaster, we'll return on Saturday, August 11. In fact, if everyone
has a good time--patrons, proprietors, the band--this could be a
regular thing.

So please book the sitter and join us if you can.

PS: An early alert: We're planning two closer-to-a-full-band shows
with former Adelphi Records label-mates the Nighthawks and the
Rosslyn Mountain boys on Thanksgiving weekend, Friday at the State
Theater in Falls Church and Saturday at Starr Hill in
Charlottesville. Not sure yet of the lineup, although Lucile is
pretty certain that she won't be able to attend. More on that as it
develops.
