i tried to email you this proposal but i guess your busy on your
screen play thatsa cool anyway:

my interest hiring her to play a role: is to hire LindsayHollister
[plus 50% of all said project mechindising ect]my offer to her: 5
hundred to 2 thousand per hour or episode depending on her, all
expence paid and a house while filming and 10%-20% to the agent and
negotiates. So negotiate; from what i can tell from imbd. and her
webpage {and what i have seen of her on tv and films} she is
perfect. {all will be done around her schedule and at her discretion
[remember i came asking for her for the role the ball as they say is
in her court]

the show: {his coming [intro] history[memory sequence] and outward
redemption [fights and i mean fight his own friends for redemption]
It is an original extra-ordinary, stupendously amazing, unique
{never been done before [or attempted]} show. It will revolutionize
and forever change the face and format of television. It will exceed
and transcend all expectations, thoughts and beliefs. The show,
itself, transcends emotion; it will dwell in your mind and stick in
your heart, forever {an inevitable talk of the town. it will hit you
with truth, heal you with humor, pull at the heart-strings, force
you into action and leave you wanting more. in essence it is a show
of the like you have never seen. filled to the rim with love and for
women empowering all the way. for a world still underestimation its
power and potential, it will be a long anticipated breathe of fresh
air. give me and the show a chance and we'll prove it. the show will
with out question, be worth your wild. I can prove it. Ask and I
will tell you all you need to know about the show.

Anyway, why do I ask you; because that fact of the matter is that
you might like it? I have been a fan of your since i could remember.
And I believe in you and the show. In the final analysis, taking it
all into consideration, it is all up to you.

Peter~

To answer your concerns...

A. When I'm not working, I'm writing on the computer. When I can't think of how
to further
the screenplay I'm working on, checking my e-mail helps (I think I have a minor
case of ADD)
B. This group has been around for several years and I never took the time to get
personally
involved with it. I decided the other day to do so. I love the people that take
the time to write
me personal e-mails (I will be sending you one, you skeptic you) so I thought
that getting a
group discussion going in here would be fun! Right?
C. No one else was writing so why not me? lol!

That's the deal. I posted personal pictures from the set of My Name Is Earl and
one with Jamie
Fox from a holiday party at Mekhi Phifer's house (he directed me in a movie I
did last
summer. I play a dominatrix, grrrr!), if that doesn't convince you then...dang,
you Candians
are
tough!

Loves,

Lindsay

Because here in Ontario. We don't base things on what is on the
outside, it's what's inside that matters the most. But hey in your
case the outside and the inside shines like no other.

I've never done this before, but with a busy schedule that you have.
I am some what a bit skeptical, that THE Lindsay Hollister is able to
respond back to not only my e-mail, but to the numerous of other e-
mails from all her other fans spend to this site.

So I'm goingot leave my personal hotmail e-mail address
(n_boy41@...), so you yourself can respond directly back to
me. In order for us to discuss how life is different from the states
and ontario, how fuller figured women are treated/viewed/adored
different from the states and ontario.

I am well aware that you constantly get this kind of request from all
your different fans and everything. But I am far from a
stalker/rapist/fanatic. All I am is a handsome black man north of
the border that is a president of a bbw admirer group in ontario.
Plus like I said on the previous post that I am fan of your north of
the border. That's never been on a site like this ever, and I find
it hard to believe that with an incredible actresses schedule that
she can actually find the time to reply back to any of her fans
questions no matter how big or small they maybe.

Hope to get a reply from you at your earliest.

Hi my name is peter and I'm just here to say that not only is lindsay
loved, adorded and respected for not only her breathe taking beauty,
and incredible talent in the states, but north of the border as well.

I'm just hoping that as she receives more opportunies to be on great
shows like (C.S.I, Cold Case, My name is Earl, Nip/Tuck and the show
that even though it isn't on anymore, but it was the show that got me
first started to being here biggest fan north of the border, and
which gave not only myself, but millions of other people just how
beautiful and great of an actresses she is on Boston Public).

She is the most versatile actress out there right now. From all the
different characters that she has been able to protray. Either as a
suductress trying ot get out of a parking violation, to an
emotionally unstable woman that just wants her looks to be just
right. Lidsay doesn't deserve to just be a face in the crowd, or
just be in the show for a few moments at a time. What she derserves
is her own show, or her own movie where as she can display all the
ranges that she has so far in her previous endevours. But to show
more of herself, and various different ranges that she has not been
given the proper chances to show what she can really do.

So just as long as she is so far given scripts that shows different
emothions on all the top shows. But if all the writers, show
executives, and other people that are in control of programming that
gave Sara Rue (she is a different topic at a different time all
together, but of course I'm just joking with what I just said). If
those same people that gave her a chance with her own show, just
think what lindsay can do, if she was given that same show or at
least the same opportunity for a show similar to that. Then not only
with her current adoring fans have an opportunity to she her on
television on a more consistant basis, but the rest of the world
would be able to see and find out for themselves what we as fans
already know.

That without a shadow of a doubt, and without any hesitation. That
Lindsay Hollistor is Hollywood Best Kept Secret.

Just keep up the good work

On a side note. Not only myself but a few friends of mine join
together and write scripts specifically with the main character as a
full figure woman, and how real and ordinary men (well north of the
border, I have no clue what things are like in the states. But here
in ontario. The majority of the relationships that you see are with
bigger women and slimmer men). And wehn me and my friends get
together we discuss how are relationships are like and put then on
paper, and we get either are firends or friends of friends and act
out the scripts that we write about.

Basically they are sitcoms, and even romantic love stories solely
based on our experiences. Showing how "normal" people interact with
one another. In each story/episode/movie the main characters are a
bigger woman and a slimmer man. That's just how mine and alot of
other men I've grown up with, and met lives not mostly focused on
(because we do have lives and make a good living.........lol). but
that's what are lives north of the border have been about.

Now what do yo think about that.

Hey Daiji~

First, thank you for being a fan and for your question! This has been the thorn
in the side
of my career, the idea of always playing the "fat character". This is a giant
double edge
sword. On one hand, I've been given the opportunity to play some amazing
characters on
Television. On the other hand, because I can't leave and take off a fat suit, it
does hit a
little close to home. Unfortunately, this industry has been built on
stereotypes. These are
the roles that have been presented to me. Writers rarely write roles for large
people that
are just "normal". Or roles where the weight isn't a major part of the story
line. Casting
directors and producers don't always think outside of the box.

There have been a few exeptions in my career. My part in My Name Is Earl had
nothing to
do with weight. So did my roles in a Hallmark movie called McBride and a
Showtime show I
did, Going to California. Joan of Arcadia had nothing to do with size (i was
god!). But those
haven't been my high profile roles. Most people know me from Nip/Tuck, L & O:
SVU,
Boston Public, and Cold Case. I have to say that those characters did have the
common
thread of being overweight, but I feel like each one was different. Different
personalites.
Different journeys through life.

Bottom line: I'd love to just play a part where the word "fat" isn't mentioned.
I'm working
my way into Hollywood in order to change that. Till then I just CAN'T turn down
amazing
Guest Leads like "Cold Case" (most recent). They just don't write large Guest
Stars anymore
for anyone who isn't a "name". I have to jump on those roles so people can see
me do
more than just a scene or two. And I want to work!

I'm not alone. A lot of my friends in this industry complain about always going
out for the
"girl in a bikini" or the "nerds". I'm sure Pamela Anderson would like to not
always play the
bimbo :) My friend, Eric, has Guest Starred on every major show out there. He
always ends
up playing the killer. Ah, we all have our crosses to bear!

Till that perfect role comes my way, I might have to play a fat girl or two. BUT
I have
turned down roles that are degrading. That's not worth it. I hope that when
people watch
the shows I've done, they see how horrible our prejudice towards people of size
is. How it
needs to end. I've received letters from all over the world from people who are
able to
relate to my characters. That keeps me going. That makes it worth it :)

What do you think?

Thought you'd like a post that doesn't have anything to do with webcams or
refinancing your

episode of My
Name is Earl air, hope y'all caught it! Plus, this Sunday my episode of "Cold
Case" re-airs at
8pm on CBS. It's a big, fabulous dramatic show. The highest rated Cold Case
episode so far!
And I have a website all my own at LindsayHollister.com if you wanna check that
out. It's still
evolving into the site I want it to be but it's a great place to keep updated!

Love and Best Wishes for a Fabulous New Year!!

Hey everyone,

I found a couple cool links that are fun to play
around with. The first is the Internet Movie Database.
It's cool for looking up trivia and stuff:

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0391234/

The second is a "star links" tool that you can use to
figure out how actors are connected. Best of all, it's
hosted out of UVA (if I could go back to college,
that's where I'd go). Lindsay has a star-link score of
"2" to Clint Eastwood! Anyway, enjoy:

From our friends over at PlusStuff.com

Banned Books Week 2005 is September 24 – October 1 . . .

At PlusStuff, we believe in living fully. Our definition of living
fully includes the freedom of choice. Some folks choose to diet, some
choose not to. We advocate making informed healthy choices, but
realize ultimately you must decide what's best for your mind, body and
spirit. When it comes to feeding your brain, we feel the same way.

Not every movie, TV show or book is to our liking, but we appreciate
that others may find value in choices that do not appeal to us. And we
appreciate that we have the option not view or read things that are
not to our liking. The key word being the "option" or freedom to
choose.

This week is the American Library Association's Banned Books Week

Be naughty, read a book!

Being overweight my whole life I often wondered why
these big name designers didn't tap into the plus size
market considering how much of the US population is
considered over weight, but then I realized why they
never did. It would tarnish their image of supporting
the skin flint bean pole market. Kudos to those
designers who are starting to tap into the plus size
market

Hi Jenn.

Nice to have you on board. It's good that you're now one with us in giving
Lindsay some support in her career.

I would take exception to what you said about probably doing the same thing to
mean kids. Lindsay's example in life should be your inspiration, not her roles.
Women like yourself are beautiful both inside and out. You should continue to
show that as Lindsay has.

Hopefully, you will follow in her footsteps and get to Hollywood as well. Just
ask her. She sometimes finds the time to read this mailing list when her work
isn't taking up her time.

And yeah. It is cool that you have the same last name as her. I thought you
were a cousin or some other realtive. :)

P.S. Hi Lindsay. We miss you. Hope you find the time to write again :)

Hi everyone,
I'm new here. I actually became a fan of Lindsay's when I saw her on
the episode "Mean" on Law & Order: SVU. I love the show and what drew
me to Lindsay is the part she played in it. I too am big and have been
my whole life, and having gradeated (yes, i misspelled it on purpose)
in 96, there wasn't much done to kids back then who picked on us big
kids. Nowadays, I probably would have done the same thing she did in
the episode. I am currently looking to pursue a career in acting, and
can hope that I too will be successful like Lindsay. I hope she reads
this forum, because I really do admire her. She's one of my favorite
actresses. BTW is there an address to which mail or email can be sent ?

And yes, I think it's quite an honor to share the same last name as
her too!

Fox's newest medical drama, "House" takes on obesity. In episode
28, "Heavy" - which aired March 28th – we meet Jessica, an
overweight ten year-old, whose heart stops when she collapses during
gym class.

As we follow this medical drama, we course through a full gamut of
obesity issues - a Fat 101 for Prime Time - insensitive doctors,
protective parents, secretive children, self-esteem and body image,
school yard taunts, diet pills, and genetic disorders - just to name
a few.

"Of course you're sick, you're fat," argues an insensitive doctor
entrenched in a medical culture trained to view fat as a moral
failing. This led to an interesting discussion between the Dr. and
Jessica's mother where the mother complains "you just can't see past
her weight." You mean there could be something else?

Of course, this is where the "real" doctors come in to save the day.
It turns out Jessica has a tumor, as a result of a disorder called
Cushings Disease. Cushing's disease is probably more accurately
referred to as hyperadrenocorticism -- the production of too much
adrenal hormone causing increased drinking, increased urination,
increased appetite- resulting in weight gain and high blood pressure.

It was refreshing to see the medical community (ok, so it's only on
TV) looking for causes beyond diet and exercise as a possible reason
for the illness. Actually treating the patient as a patient and not
simply as a fat person. We all are too aware of the studies where
the symptoms of big folks get lost by doctors who simply don't pay
attention to them because they assume any problem they have is
caused by being overweight.

So as to wrap things up nicely (hey, we only have sixty minutes and
we have to work in a few subplots and doctor squabbling here and
there), Jessica has surgery and then fast forward a week to a
recovering, slimmer Jessica. Whew . . .

While it seems to be progress to see plus-size characters appearing
on Prime Time (even if it's on sitcom medical shows), there is some
concern over the "at least she's not fat, anymore" ending. It
suggests that all of her suffering was wrong, not because it's
suffering, but because she wasn't really meant to be fat. If she
were still fat at the end, would the staff have been vindicated?

I was happy to see Lindsay on Scrubs, Tuesday night. I love that show
and it was even better with her guest starring. I was shocked to hear
the words "I'm going to have gastric bypass" come out of her mouth,
but hopefully that will never happen in real life. How can you mess
with an actress with such beauty with a surgery like that? Keep up
the good work, Lindsay!

Yes, it was Lindsay.
I'm happy-sad for that one.
Happy that our Lindsay's visible again but sad that she only had one scene.
As always, we'll be waiting for where she shows up again.
The more, the merrier. :)

Hi everyone, I joined this group because I have always been a fan of
Lindsay's. I think she is one of the more underrated actresses
around. Fortunately, she's still young, so that's probably because
people just aren't aware of her talents yet. But anyone who saw her
talent at different roles on "Law and Order: SVU," "Boston Public,"
and my personal favorite "Nip/Tuck," knows that she'll be around for
a long, long time.

I did get out of debt. Now we need the spammers to
address our erectile dysfunction needs.

I was bragging on you the other day! Some friends of
mine were talking about how much they liked Boston
Public. Hope you have a groovy holiday.

Hey Everyone!
I am home in Ohio for the holidays and have had some time to surf around the
net. I've
almost forgotten about this little yahoo group that could. If anyone is still
out there (and
out of financial debt with a fabulous home loan thanks to those other posts)
here are the
updates.
In Nov. I finished shooting the third movie in the McBride mini-series for
Hallmark. It stars
John Larroquette. That airs sometime early next year. When I return to LA, I am
up for the
lead in an independent film and a possible Guest Star on a big hit TV show.
Also, I jet off
to Las Vegas for a few days to shoot a cute supporting role in the feature
Vegas, Baby.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday and cheers to a fabulous New
Year!!

Lindsay
