Hey All,

This is Stephen Carter, a longtime (but quiet) member of ldsfilm. I was recently hired to be Sunstone's editor and I'm going to be taking the magazine in a more Mormon arts and culture direction. 

I was wondering if any of you are planning to attend the Gloria Film Festival, and if you are, if you'd be willing to write a commentary of about 1000 words on it. I'm interested in what the offerings of the festival portend about the future of Mormon film, what they say about what sells in Utah these days, how Mormon culture affects these movies, etc. I'm not interested in criticism of the films, but rather keen-eyed cultural commentary.
