A Sad Day For LDS Film Makers

For all of us that have approached the ultimate bank roller for movies in the state of Utah.  Another hurdle to overcome.   I personally remember calling his  people,  I talked to some really stern lady who told me "Larry Miller does not invest in movies!" This was in 2003.  And about a month later it was announced he was putting 7.4 million into Work and the Glory.

Personally I'm still amazed that Larry cant make things work in the movie industry. He owns over 80% of the screens in Utah.  And has one of the biggest marketing arms.

**Miller said the box office disappointment of "The Work and the Glory" has "extinguished" his desire to be a movie producer. "I have no interest in the movie [production] business any more," he said. **
