A lot has been happening on the Australian convention front of late and I
thought I would bring everyone up to speed.



We have a venue for our August 21 convention (finally he says).

"A Trip through the Slipstream" with special guests Kevin Sorbo and Laura
Bertram will be held at the Victorian State Library.

This will be the venue for the cocktail party as well.

The Library is in the middle of the city opposite RMIT University and
Melbourne Central (nice and easy to get to).

We have booked a state of the art theatre and I'm sure everyone will be more
than comfortable.

Melbourne - Force IV: The 4th National Star Wars Saga Convention of
Australia

Melbourne - Tabula Rasa Events, third annual Buffy Convention

This is the first New Battlestar Galactica convention in Australia and what
a great way to kick off a new show. This will be a great event.

Elves and WETA - A Lord of the Rings Event

Guests - Too many to mention. 11 so far from both infront and behind the
cameras.

Date - August 4 - 7, 2005

Adele and Brian always put on a good show and I have no doubt that this will
be no exception.
