I am new to this group and delighted to have found you. Thanks

I saw Kes as a child growing up in Bradford, West Yorkshire and loved
it. I have never forgotten the film and it was part of my reason for
becoming a lover of cinema which love I still have some 30 years
later.

I have helped run Film Societies for most of my adult life and in
that regard have corresponded with Ken Loach on a few occasions and
he has always been polite and responsive.

Anyway, my main reason for sending this message is to tell you all
that I have just ordered Kes on video and I just can't wait to show
it to my 10 year old son and daughters aged 12 and 4.

I wonder if it will live with them for another thirty years?
