I'm not sure if this is for real?
The first line... After today watch the direction change, watch me try to sort
this by
me sen... certainly is not part of the dialogue from Kes the film or the book (A
Kestrel For A Knave). Although 'Sen' is a used word throughout book and film and
means SELF. Which if you are from the North (especially Yorkshire) you would
know anyway.
The second line... (ref: kes , thee got legs , tek it thee sen)" is certainly a
reference to the book and is simply, 'you have legs so take it yourself.' I
think the first line is the important one where someone is obviously planning a
change - job, girlfriend etc.
The person who wrote it is obviously a fan of the book and possibly the film.
Let me know how you get on.
Simon

Subject: [Ken Loach's KES] Anybody shed some light on a line?
I have had a random text with the following in it, on asking the
sender (boyfreind) what he was on about he replied it will all make
sense, hence I am now on a mission to figure out what hes on about!
I typed kes into a search engine and realised it could be a film he's
on about, please please can anyone shed any light?£
"After today watch the direction change, watch me try to sort this by
me sen (ref: kes , thee got legs , tek it thee sen)"
If this has nothing to do with the film at least I am narrowing it
down!
Cheers Lou
