I was a member of the KMML quite a while ago,
before they were so "discriminating" about their
members.<br><br><br><br>I removed myself from the list a year ago, then
recently I re-applied for membership and was turned
down.<br><br><br><br>I feel that the unjust dismissal is significant of
the real reason; that this club, and the founder's
other Kellie Martin club have turned into "Christian"
members clubs- as reading some of the messages posted on
both *are* of a "Christian" slant.<br><br><br><br>This
is not a fair representation of Kellie's fans.. as
there was never any implied nor written statement of
Kellie's religious convictions.<br><br><br><br>Her
religiously suggestive roles in "Christy" and "Life Goes On"
were only Hollywood, scripted characters and not to be
taken as seriously as her real life
persona.<br><br><br><br>As a matter of fact, the assumption that Kellie
Martin is somehow a "Born Again" Christian is absolutely
unfounded. <br><br><br><br>I feel that it is only wishful
thinking and projections of what some fans want Kellie to
be that drives the KMML and this
club.<br><br><br><br>Anyone with rudimentary intelligence would tell you that
the majority of the "powers that be" in Hollywood,
i.e. script writers, producers, directors, actors,
etc., are in fact of the Jewish faith; a religion which
does not affiliate itself with the belief of Jesus
Christ's sanctity but denial of Him. <br><br><br>Note: the
previous statement is NOT to defame those of the Jewish
faith or create anti-Semetic propaganda; this is only a
working "fact of life" of the entertainment industry here
in L.A..<br><br><br><br>There is no legitimate
reason why you cannot enjoy this club with members of
all races, religions and beliefs. However, if this
club continues to be affiliated with such leanings of
faith, then please post it as such in the rider of this
club's initial greeting. Otherwise it will much less be
a "Kellie Martin" fan club than a "believe in our
faith" club.<br><br><br><br><br>I should expect the KMML
would do so as well.<br><br><br><br><br>Anyhow, thank
