Kate Maberly is a little known British actress who got her silver screen start in the 1993 American Zoetrope version of The Secret Garden playing the lead role of Mary Lennox. Her most recent additions to her resume include a role in J. M. Barrie’s Neverland aka Finding Neverland, Like Minds, Popcorn (currently in Post Production), The Audition, The Dorabella Variation, Daniel Deronda, My Wounded Heart and Simon: An English Legionnaire aka Deserter. In 2003 she played Juliet in a stage production of Romeo and Juliet. Kate Maberly also starred in such films as Friendship’s Field, Stephen King’s The Langoliers, Gulliver’s Travels, Mothertime, Mysteries of Egypt, Last of the Blonde Bombshells, and Victoria and Albert. Kate has had television appearances on As-If, Midsomer Murders, A Touch of Frost, Anglo Saxon Attitudes, and Spatz. She has also done some radio plays including Little Women, Walls Of Silence, and National Velvet and the audio book Catherine Called Birdy.
